Man is often bound or limited by their own mind; not by the environment, not by the opportunities that come or don't come their way and nor by what others do or don't do. It is the power of what we tell ourselves and the limits we create that enables us to achieve things and at the same time inhibits other things

One significant manner in which our mind paints that canvas of possibilities in an unencumbered manner is with Dreams. The beauty of dreams is that they are typically not constrained by the conventional logic or rules of behaviour, the laws of nature are applicable in the physical realm not the mental. This gives Man an enormous amount of power in terms of what they can think of, can aspire to, can covet. The universe is your canvas and perhaps even beyond
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before
Edgar Allen Poe
But not all Dreams have their origins in your deep sleep. While many do, there are the others where you are conscious and awake and unshackle yourself in thinking of goals, desires, destinations that seem impractical or irrational in the conventional sense. These are often larger ambitions, a deeper desire to achieve something, a fire within that aspires to get somewhere. For many of us, the fact that we have these Dreams and keep recounting them again and again, reshaping them in some subtle manner frequently is a driver for why we live, because the dream provides hope and hope fuels the desire to live, today
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible
T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia)
The best part with these dreams is that they come free. It costs you absolutely nothing to dream. You can dream in the morning as you brush your teeth, during your run, in the shower, at the breakfast table, while driving to work, over a cup of coffee, as you mindless scroll through your social media feed - anytime is Dreamtime and anything is dream-worthy
It's free, it takes less effort than most other things and who knows it could open up the doors for something magical
So what are you waiting for? What have you dreamt of today?
